Ole Miss Collaboration

We are pleased that beginning in the spring of 2017, our department forged a collaborative relationship with Ole Miss specifically for training our Sports Medicine Fellow. Dr. Marshall Crowther, medical director and sports medicine physician for the Ole Miss Rebels, is a clinician-educator faculty with our department.

Our Sports Medicine fellow spends time in the Spring on the Oxford campus participating in various collegiate athletic opportunities including spring football, softball, baseball and other ongoing sports. Exposure to orthopedic clinics, student health, training room rounds, sports psychology, and sports nutrition are part of the rotation.  Opportunity is available to shadow the team physician of the Memphis Grizzlies as well.
